Ausmon Resources (AOA) continued field sampling at the Stirling Vale and Kanbarra concessions near Broken Hill in New South Wales.

Sampling was completed at Stirling Vale but had to be reduced at Kanbarra due to heavy rain.

A total of 228 soil samples and 13 rock samples were taken and will be sent to a laboratory for analysis of multi-elements including lithium and associated elements.

Sampling at Stirling Vale was carried out to the northeast of the tenement, an area comprising extensive pegmatite, which may have potential for lithium, cesium and tantalum mineralization.

This zone has not been the subject of significant exploration for lithium before.

Field sampling at Kanbarra was carried out in three zones defined by low and high magnetism as well as high rock chemistry, identified in historical data.

The technical director met with landowners of nearby buildings to discuss access and compensation conditions.

The company says its proposed exploration plans have been well received and it will make progress towards executing the agreements.

Shares closed flat today at 0.8 cents each.
