BOULDER, Colo. – Students at the University of Colorado at Boulder have weighed in on the Biden administration’s handling of student loan debt.
‘Biden has done a great job so far, but I’d like to see if he actually delivers on his 2020 election promise to help students forgive their loan debt,’ a student told Fox News.

In the presidential election, President Biden promised “to make sure everyone in this generation gets $10,000 off their student debt.”
In response to a question about Biden’s campaign promise, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “If Congress sends him a bill, he’s happy to sign it. have not yet sent a bill on this subject.”
Biden has suspended student loan repayments, “providing critical relief to borrowers who continue to face financial hardship due to the pandemic,” according to the US Department of Education, which said the suspension of student loan repayments student loans will help 41 million borrowers save $5. billion per month. Millions will resume payments from May 1.
